THE HISTORY OF THE FIRE KNIFE

The Samoan Fire Knife Warrior Tradition

This page is a tribute to the Father of the Samoan Fire Knife,
Paramount Chief Uluao "Freddie" Letuli, from American Samoa.
He performed both the NIFO OTI, or the Death Knife, (which is made from shark's teeth, boar tusks, & sharp, hand hewn sharp teeth carved directly into the club)...as well as the SIVA AFI - FIRE KNIFE all over the world!

He is our inspiration!

I am privileged to know & be a friend of the Letuli Family,
who run the Annual International Fire Knife Competition in Anaheim, California.
